Antti Jaakkola
An architect from Tampere specializing in the design of private homes and holiday residences. His completed projects can be found throughout Finland as well as in neighboring countries, including Sweden and Russia.
Antti’s style is characterized by qualities typical of Scandinavian design: practicality, naturalness and clarity. Rather than looking to the past, the architect focuses on contemporary approaches and uses modern Building Information Modeling (BIM) methods, which also help contractors understand the architectural plans as an integrated whole.
Timber houses have always been popular in the Nordic countries. Since 2015, the architect and his team have designed timber houses and villas for hundreds of families.
Antti’s designs are always first and foremost client-oriented, based on the client’s needs and wishes. The budget and specific characteristics of the site are also carefully taken into account. His signature is architecture that creates a genuine sense of home.
The choice of building material is not a limitation for the architect. Projects can be designed using virtually any available material. He has created numerous contemporary stone and timber houses, as well as innovative homes made from prefabricated shipping containers.
