The house Opal designed by Finnish architect Asko Lax showcases a perfect combination of advanced technologies and traditional materials which are characteristic features of the Lumi Polar company.
The facade is made of two-tone painted timber, natural stone, and ceramic panels.
Wood-aluminum windows manufactured using Finnish technologies, give the house an elegant appearance and ensure durability.
The Opal house is built using Modern corner technology. The corners of the house have straight lines like corners of the houses made of stone or other construction materials, without exposed corner notch.
The roof made of metal seam with a unique curved shape and the Aqua System drainage make an architecture of the house modern.
On the first floor, there is a master bedroom with a separate exit to a spacious terrace. A detached sauna with hamam and relaxation area with a fireplace is connected to the house by terraces. This provides access to leisure spaces, enhancing the sense of comfort and privacy. The barbecue area on the terrace under a wooden canopy made of thermo-pine creates ideal conditions for hosting guests.
High ceilings and a second light in the living room with an area of 81 m2 give a sense of open space and a beautiful view to the surrounding nature. Combined dining and kitchen area have an exit to the terrace through convenient sliding doors, providing quick access to the outdoor barbecue.
On the second floor, there are two bedrooms with a bathroom and access to the balcony.
One of the features of this project is its carefully thoughtful functionality: a separate entrance to the laundry room allows the owners to keep the house in perfect order without worrying about dirt after walks with dog or active leisure. A guest bathroom is hidden from view, ensuring maximum privacy for the owners and their guests.
There is a garage and a car port which protects vehicles from bad weather conditions. Additional parking is located in the yard.
Lumi Polar continues to adhere to its principles to design houses that last for centuries. Our confidence in every detail and pursuance to an impeccable quality make each house a true piece of architectural art.
