A unique Finnish sauna built on the Cote d’Athur of France. This sauna project was designed by renowned Finnish architect Seppo Mantyla, whose work is always marked by minimalism and functionality. He considered every single wish of the client.
The interior and design solutions are the work of Roman Andrusenko, known for his style of understated elegance and fine work with materials. In Eden, he created a space that is not only visually stunning but also highly functional and warm in atmosphere.
The facades are decorated with trapezium-shaped battens, which give the sauna a sense of lightness and dynamism. The color scheme could have been any, but the client chose natural wood tones that harmonize with the surrounding landscape.
The Eden sauna, with a total area of 80 sq.m, was built using our patented technologies:
- Non-settling log Nord Cross (202×260 mm, spruce). This technology provides maximum thermal insulation and durability, eliminating deformation and cracking
- Modern Corner joint technology which allows the corners look straight like in stone houses.
The sauna includes a shower room, bathroom, steam room, and a wood-burning stove. A cozy, spacious 54 sq.m terrace with a barbecue grill.
This was the first project of its kind in the region where traditional hamam are more common. But the Finnish sauna offers an entirely different experience.
