Bahamas Hotel — architecture born by the sea
Bahamas Hotel is a luxury resort architectural concept designed for life by the sea. The project was developed by Finland’s leading architect, Matti Iiramo — a pioneer in modern living models across Europe.
This will be a seaside hotel where air, light, and architecture merge into a single system.
Total project area: 10,465 m², including 1,765 m² of spacious terraces and balconies opened for sunlight and sea breeze.
Perfection in design, meeting global standards
The project is built based on global best practices for luxury hotels, as well as strict Finnish Lumi Polar standards.
Every detail from load-bearing structures to acoustics is engineered with millimeter precision to ensure guests experience silence, lightness, and safety, while the space helps restore inner balance.
Comfort engineered in millimeters
The layout includes various room types: from private apartments with internal courtyards to two-storey luxury residences with saunas, private pools, and private parking.
Family apartments have their own gardens and relaxation zones — perfect for long outdoor breakfasts and quiet evening conversations. Even more compact rooms are built with the same level of engineering systems and aesthetic purity.
Bahamas Hotel is a clear embodiment of the Lumi Polar architectural signature, where Finnish engineering meets the aesthetics of the southern coast.
Every element is designed to Scandinavian standards: flawless acoustics, energy efficiency, natural ventilation, and stable microclimate.
Natural Finnish materials — wood, stone and glass — form a living ecosystem that keeps interiors cool on hot days and gently warm in the evenings.
A territory of light, greenery, and silence
The layout reflects our fundamental principles of rationality and privacy:
- Residential units are situated in the western zone, among green spaces and shade of trees
- The eastern zone is dedicated to meetings and relaxation: a restaurant with an open terrace, pool, children’s area, playground, and a promenade area along the shore.
Every line is planned so that guests hear only the sound of waves and rustling leaves. Light, air, and landscape form a perfect architectural symphony.
Philosophy of comfort and lifestyle culture
The project demonstrates how global hospitality standards and Finnish engineering school can be united to create a space where a person feels as a part of the world around.
ven this large-scale commercial project follows the same principles as the legendary Lumi Polar houses: climate analysis, thermal insulation compliance with Finnish norms, and acoustic solutions like in Scandinavian luxury hotels.
Bahamas Hotel sets a new benchmark for resort architecture.
